ITI (Trades)

The shortest road from Class 10 to skilled, employable work: one or two years learning a single trade properly. Trades are undervalued in conversation and in constant demand in reality — every building, factory, vehicle and power line in the state depends on them. The road continues too, through apprenticeship, through a diploma by lateral entry, and above all through self-employment, which is where a great many trade-qualified people eventually make their living.
